Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deploy smart contracts on blockchain platforms (primarily Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains).
- Write gas-efficient, secure code with strong attention to edge cases and failure modes.
- Develop and maintain core smart contract logic for decentralized applications (DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, etc.).
- Write and maintain comprehensive test suites using frameworks like Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle.
- Conduct internal audits and participate in external security reviews.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless integration of on-chain and off-chain components.
- Stay up-to-date with protocol upgrades (e.g., Ethereum forks), security threats, and tooling improvements.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical documentation, and community engagement as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Solidity and familiarity with smart contract development tools (e.g., Hardhat, Foundry, Remix).
- Strong understanding of Ethereum and other layer-1/layer-2 platforms, including consensus mechanisms and gas models.
- Experience with secure software development practices and knowledge of common attack vectors (e.g., reentrancy, flash loans, front-running).
- Comfortable working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cryptographic primitives, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and contract upgradeability patterns is a plus.
- Ability to communicate clearly, write clean code, and collaborate in fast-paced Web3 environments.
