Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement digital twins for industrial systems, smart buildings, or infrastructure using 3D modeling, real-time data feeds, and simulation tools.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and domain experts to ensure accurate digital representations of physical assets.
- Integrate IoT data sources, SCADA systems, or ERP platforms into digital twin environments for real-time visualization and analysis.
- Develop simulation scenarios to test operational strategies, maintenance schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
- Monitor performance, refine system models, and implement improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure interoperability with enterprise platforms and adherence to data security standards.
- Document system architecture, modeling assumptions, and update protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience developing or implementing digital twins in domains such as manufacturing, energy, construction, or urban planning.
- Proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB, AnyLogic, Siemens NX, Unity, or Unreal Engine).
- Strong understanding of IoT systems, sensor integration, and real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Digital Twins, AWS IoT TwinMaker) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
