Objectives of this role
- Conduct impact assessments to identify risks of bias, discrimination, and misuse.
- Develop ethical frameworks and guidelines for responsible AI development.
- Monitor AI systems for compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Partner with leadership to integrate digital ethics into business practices.
Your tasks
- Audit algorithms for fairness, accountability, and transparency.
- Draft internal policies and ethics guidelines for AI development and deployment.
- Monitor global regulatory and ethics standards for AI and digital systems.
- Provide ethics training and workshops for engineering teams.
- Publish reports and recommendations on ethical risks in AI.
- Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams on governance initiatives.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Data Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in AI ethics, digital governance, or compliance.
- Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and algorithmic bias.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with GDPR, EU AI Act, and international digital governance frameworks.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Advanced degree in AI Ethics, Technology Policy, or Law.
- Experience conducting fairness audits or transparency reviews.
- Familiarity with explainable AI methods.
- Involvement in ethics boards, academic research, or policy working groups.
- Experience with compliance programs in regulated industries.
