Objectives of this role
- Design and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for AI, ML, and data science positions.
- Partner with engineering leadership to define role requirements and technical assessment criteria.
- Build diverse talent pipelines through innovative sourcing methods and industry partnerships.
- Leverage AI-powered recruiting tools to optimize candidate identification and engagement processes.
Your tasks
- Develop specialized sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill AI and ML roles across all experience levels.
- Conduct technical screening interviews and coordinate with engineering teams for assessments.
- Build relationships with universities, research institutions, and AI community organizations.
- Analyze AI hiring market trends, compensation benchmarks, and skill demand patterns.
- Implement AI tools and automation to enhance recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.
- Collaborate with employer branding teams to position company as top AI employer destination.
- Mentor junior recruiters on technical recruiting best practices and AI domain knowledge.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience recruiting for AI/ML, data science, or advanced technical roles.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, programming languages, and model development lifecycle.
- Proficiency with modern recruiting tools and AI-powered candidate sourcing platforms.
- Experience with technical interviewing and assessment design for data science roles.
- Knowledge of AI industry landscape, key players, and emerging technology trends.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with technical candidates.
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in technical recruiting.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Technical background in computer science, mathematics, or data science.
- Experience using AI recruiting tools (HireVue, Pymetrics, SeekOut, Eightfold AI).
- Knowledge of academic research community and conference networks (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
- Familiarity with specialized AI roles (ML Engineers, Research Scientists, AI Product Managers).
- Understanding of immigration processes for international AI talent acquisition.
- Certifications in talent acquisition, technical recruiting, or people analytics.
