Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Monitor compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements for AI systems.
- Collaborate with data science, legal, compliance, and engineering teams to assess AI models and processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses related to AI technologies.
- Recommend improvements to AI lifecycle management, including model documentation, monitoring, and auditability.
- Support transparency and accountability initiatives in AI development and deployment.
- Stay up to date on AI regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance on AI governance practices to internal stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Law, Ethics, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Experience in AI, data governance, compliance, or risk management.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their societal, ethical, and regulatory implications.
- Familiarity with global AI policies, such as the EU AI Act, OECD principles, or NIST AI RMF.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to evaluate technical systems within ethical, legal, and operational contexts.
