Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess technical debt in codebases, infrastructure, and design patterns.
- Work with engineering teams to document areas of technical inefficiency.
- Quantify impact on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Recommend refactoring strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Contribute to architectural reviews and backlog grooming.
- Develop KPIs to track technical debt remediation progress.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with code analysis tools (e.g., SonarQube, CodeClimate).
- Knowledge of system architecture, legacy systems, and SDLC.
- Strong skills in software documentation and stakeholder reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and technical risk management.
- Experience presenting technical debt assessments to leadership.
