Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy audits of IT and facility systems to identify savings opportunities.
- Recommend energy-efficient technologies and design upgrades.
- Analyze energy consumption data and model potential improvements.
- Guide implementation of green IT strategies, such as server consolidation or virtualization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant energy standards and certifications.
- Develop reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulators.
- Educate teams on energy conservation practices and behavior change.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Energy Management, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, IT infrastructure, and energy modeling tools.
- Familiarity with Energy Star, ISO 50001, or similar standards.
- Experience with software tools such as RETScreen, eQuest, or EnergyPlus.
- Ability to interpret metering data, utility bills, and efficiency benchmarks.
- Professional certifications like CEM, LEED, or CMVP are a plus.
