Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement interactive AR/VR applications using platforms such as Unity, Unreal Engine, ARKit, and ARCore.
- Collaborate with 3D artists, designers, and engineers to integrate assets and ensure smooth, immersive user experiences.
- Optimize application performance and usability across a range of devices including headsets (e.g., Meta Quest, HoloLens), smartphones, and tablets.
- Develop and maintain codebases using C#, C++, or JavaScript, depending on the development environment.
- Incorporate motion tracking, gesture control, spatial audio, and other immersive features to enhance user interaction.
- Debug and test applications for stability, responsiveness, and device compatibility.
- Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in AR/VR and immersive technology development.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing AR/VR applications with a portfolio or demo reel of relevant projects.
- Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine, including scripting and scene development.
- Experience with AR/VR SDKs such as ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia, or MRTK.
- Strong understanding of 3D math, spatial design, and performance optimization in immersive environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across creative and technical disciplines.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling workflows and assets is a plus.
