Objectives of this Role
- Design and develop secure, efficient smart contracts and decentralized applications
- Build and maintain blockchain infrastructure and protocols
- Implement cryptographic solutions and consensus mechanisms

Your Tasks
- Develop smart contracts using Solidity, Vyper, or Rust for various blockchain platforms
- Build decentralized applications using Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar libraries
- Design and implement tokenomics and cryptocurrency systems (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155)
- Create and deploy DeFi protocols including lending, staking, and liquidity provision
- Implement Layer 2 scaling solutions and cross-chain bridges
- Develop consensus mechanisms and blockchain governance systems
- Write comprehensive tests for smart contracts using Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry
- Conduct security audits and implement best practices for smart contract security
- Optimize gas consumption and transaction costs in blockchain applications
- Build backend services and APIs for blockchain integration
- Implement wallet connectivity and transaction signing mechanisms
- Design data storage solutions using IPFS or other decentralized storage systems
- Monitor blockchain networks and respond to security incidents
- Document technical specifications and maintain developer documentation
- Participate in blockchain protocol governance and improvement proposals
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years of software development experience with at least 1 year in blockchain development
- Proficiency in smart contract development (Solidity, Vyper, or Rust)
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography
- Experience with Ethereum, Bitcoin, or other major blockchain platforms
- Knowledge of Web3 development tools and frameworks
- Understanding of distributed systems and peer-to-peer networks
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of security best practices for blockchain applications
- Excellent communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with multiple blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Binance Smart Chain)
- Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs and privacy-preserving technologies
- Experience with DeFi protocols and yield farming strategies
- Familiarity with NFT standards and marketplace development
- Understanding of cross-chain communication protocols (Cosmos, Polkadot)
- Experience with blockchain scalability solutions (sharding, rollups, sidechains)
- Knowledge of formal verification methods for smart contracts
- Contributions to blockchain open-source projects
